Parent Advisory Board

Each Whitney Young site has a Parent Advisory Board. Each board coordinates Monthly Parent Meetings, sets the agenda for these meetings, conducts and records them.

Whitney Young child Development Centers Inc., holds parent meetings on-site every month at each site

Whitney Young child Development Centers Inc. has a designated parent volunteer to record topics, discussions, agenda's and actions within the parent meetings and type formal minutes. Parents who miss a particular monthly meeting have the opportunity to review the contents of the meeting missed. These minutes also provide documentation for certain grants and contracts which fund this agency.
