Executive Director: Looking for a strong, visionary and innovative director to lead a San Francisco Child Development Center. Applicant must be able to integrate arts and creative activities and educational excellence into a model kindergarten readiness program and an after school program for primarily low-income children.

Requirements: Preferred Masters-level or comparable degree in education, Early Childhood Development, Business Administration or related fields. Understanding of business with a proven record of competence such as at least 7 years in non-profit management. Experience in child development, experience in multi cultural settings, record of successful grant proposals and fund raising, knowledge of city, state and federal funding and licensing regulations. Ability to create trust and build teams and work effectively with collaborations. Community organizing skills preferred - second language a plus.

Agency serves 226 children at two sites, has a staff of 50 and an operating budget of $2,000,000.

Salary $65,000 - $80,000 plus benefits.
